Talking of top MBA schools in India, the first name that comes in mind is that of IIM Ahmedabad that was established in 1961 and isMBA still considered to be a premiere institute for imparting world class education to management students. The popularity of IIM Ahmedabad skyrocketed after collaborating with Harvard, and today, MBA’s from this institute are considered to be one of the finest MBA’s in the world. The same success story was replicated with other IIM’s that were established after IIM Ahmedabad, and the names of IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta and IIM Lucknow need no introduction in the academic circles apart from being industry favorites. There is a common entrance test called CAT for these Indian Institutes of Management, and any graduate can appear in this test to qualify for admission to these premiere business schools in India.
